Ann LaBar Russek (alr) designs and constructs intricate art quilts, wearable art, and other mixed media fiber art. As an undergraduate she majored in Theater but took many fine art electives. She has a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Alaska in creative writing. After two years of living in London, England, where she had the opportunity to study at the Hampstead School of Art, she has returned to Pennsylvania.
She is an active artist member of the Gallery on High in Pottstown, Pennsylvania.
