About the Author
Ann LaBar attended the MFA Creative Writing program at the University of Alaska Anchorage from 1990-1993. While not initially a fan of romance, much less a romance writer, those three years in Alaska began a love affair with the north, its mountains, ravens, and gold mines.
After reading some good friends' newly published romance novels, she was hooked on the genre. She too wanted to delve into the world of romance and loved the style and tone of historicals. But which era? Where and when? The answer was obvious -- Go north.
She now lives with her brutally handsome husband, her two beautiful and above average daughters, 10 happy hens, a precocious border collie, and her truest love of all -- Tallulah the Boston Terrier, on a dirt road deep in Chester County Pennsylvania.
An active member of the Valley Forge Romance Writers and editor of their newsletter, Romantic Penns, she is looking forward to a productive and prolific year of intrigue, passion, heartache, and true love.
...and they lived happily ever after.
